Leadership. There are countless books, articles, and webinars created about it. Every. Single. Day.

At the core, leadership is deeply rooted in relationship and is not about a title or an office or a role. At the center of any organization’s effectiveness are the connections between the people who work there, and most of us know our company first and foremost through our relationship with our immediate supervisor. Bravespace workplaces leverage flexible and self-aware leaders in every role to create the environment where people can bring their highest and best to work every day.

Courage is a collection of four teachable, observable, and measurable skills sets:

– Rumbling with Vulnerability: Facing risk, uncertainty, and emotional exposure with courage and clarity. – Living into our Values: Identifying, operationalizing, and practicing the beliefs that we hold most important. – Braving Trust: Creating or deepening connections in relationships and teams based on the seven elements of trust. – Learning to Rise: Learning and growing from the failures, setbacks, and disappointments that are inevitable when we are brave with our lives.

We believe a leader is anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential. Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program offering leaders skills for having hard conversations, holding themselves and others accountable, leading with empathy and connection, taking smart risks that lead to innovation, building trust, resetting quickly after disappointments and setbacks, and giving and receiving feedback – even when it’s tough. Especially when it’s tough. Research findings that support Dare to Lead are a combination of 20 years of research on courage, vulnerability, empathy, and shame, and 7 years of researching leadership including interviews with 150 leaders across disciplines from special forces military to Pixar, from Oil and Gas in Asia to nonprofits in Europe, and data collected from instrument development with MBA and eMBA students at Wharton, Kellogg, and the Jones School at Rice. We deliver the full DTL Program (a 24 hour program earning participants a Dare to Lead™ Certificate and Linked In Badge) to you virtually and in-person. We also provide custom programs, keynotes, or workshops from 30 minutes to 2 days, depending on your needs. We offer 3-4 open-enrollment sessions virtually every year.
